down oil galleries and sump.

Keeps the lubrication circuit as clean and efficient as possible to ensure that new oil remains

If black sludge is suspected

If hydraulic tappets tick/chatter

If oil change is overdue or preventative maintenance at every oil change

In the event of compresion loss from sticking piston rings
